In this paper, we examine environmental sustainability disclosure by major U.S. Coffee companies. We explore the extent to which companies report their sustainability practices based on their sustainability reports, company websites, and interviews. In addition, we share examples and successes from a U.S. coffee company in their journey moving towards environmental sustainability. Our goal is to understand the current state in manufacturing related sustainability practices and reporting by U.S. Coffee companies, and highlight major milestones and challenges.
